What we keep,
and why.

This notice covers every Samia site: the house, the seven divisions, the client portal and the team workspace. It is written in plain English because that is the only kind of privacy notice that counts.

What the forms store

Only what you type.

There are three kinds of form across the sites. Each keeps the fields below, the time it was sent, and the IP address it came from, which the server uses to stop abuse.

Subscribe

Your email address and which site you signed up on. Used only to send the letter that form describes.

Business enquiry, pitch or manuscript

Your name, email, business, website if you gave one, the option you chose and your message. The contact form here, the Agency's start form, the Magazine's write form and Books' submit form all store the same fields. Used to reply to you.

Onboarding (Agency)

Every answer in the client onboarding form, stored as one JSON record so a question can be added without a database change. Used to set up your work.

Notification

A copy of an enquiry, pitch, manuscript or onboarding form may be forwarded to our private team chat so a person sees it quickly. It goes nowhere else.

Where it lives

In Cloudflare D1, a database in our Cloudflare account. The sites themselves are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Nothing is copied to a marketing platform.

Cookies

None on the public sites. The private portal and team workspace will set one sign-in cookie from Cloudflare Access once the domain is live.

Analytics

None yet. We do not run visitor tracking or advertising pixels on any site. If that ever changes, this page changes first and says exactly what was added.

The rest

Everything else you might ask.

Fonts

The typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google's servers for them when a page opens. That request carries your IP address, as any web request does. We do not receive anything from it.

Browser storage

The sites keep a few small preferences in your browser's own storage, such as whether you have seen the dashboard tour or a draft of the onboarding form so you do not lose it. That data stays on your device and never reaches us.

Who sees it

The founder and the people working on your request. We do not sell, rent or share lists, and we do not send anything you did not ask for.

Client dashboards

A client's page shows that client's own business data, pulled from accounts they own and connect. Each client sees only their own page, behind a sign-in once the domain is live. The public samples use fictional businesses.

Children

Samia Kids collects nothing and shows no advertising. Its only form is the family subscribe form, meant for parents.

How long

Subscriber records until you unsubscribe. Enquiries and onboarding records for as long as we work together, or until you ask us to delete them.

To be deleted

Email [email protected] from the address you used. We delete the record and reply to confirm it is gone. No form, no account, no waiting period.
